Potato Stuffing

2 cups hot mashed potato
1 1/2 cups soft stale bread crumbs
1 finely chopped onion
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon sage

Add together potato, bread crumbs, butter salt, and sage, then add onion. Stuff poultry with mixture before roasting.
